At home learning, websites, activities and sample schedule to keep your child on a schedule

The Good Dr!

We celebrated Dr.Seuss at the end of February and continued into March!  We read several Dr. Seuss books including “ One Fish two Fish red Fish blue Fish“ and “ Fox in socks“. Both glasses made paper plate fish and decorated crazy socks. The fish the three day class created are currently hanging up at the Brumback library. Both classes socks and the two day classes fish or turned into a bulletin board and wall display. Check out our Dr. Seuss bulletin board and wall displays below!

More Dr. Seuss activity pictures are coming soon!

Spring mural

Both classes have been painting a lot in the last two weeks! They have been painting using different objects and processes to paint. In the picture above, both classes used a salad spinner to make spin art shamrocks. The three day class used paint brushes to turn paper plates into flowers using confetti paint,  metallic paint, and glitter paint. The three day class also used marbles to marble paint a paper and cut the paper out to make the raindrops. Finally, The two day class used dot paints to dot paint a paper and cut out an umbrella. We love how it turned out! The two day class also painted flowers and marble painted. They will cut out their raindrops on Monday. During the break their raindrops and flowers will be turned into a bulletin board that will stay up for the rest of the year with the mural. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for pictures of that bulletin board.

Under construction

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the lack of posts since January. With the passing of my mother and life in general I have not been able to do much posting. With the 3 week “Spring Break” due to COVID-19, expect an information and post dump coming soon with classroom pictures from January til now, activities to do at home, information, links and websites. These things can be used at home with your child during this time.

We’ll get through this! Please stay healthy and safe!
